Our Thursday, May 14th Hometown Hero – Roger Lemacks of Lexington! Brought to you by @republicbank and @clarkspumpnshop

Our Thursday, May 14th Hometown Hero is Roger Lemacks of Lexington.  He was nominated by his wife, Kimberly.  Kimberly says “I’m nominating my husband Roger Lemacks for Hometown Heroes.  He is considered essential personnel at the VA Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. His job title is Chief of Community Care at the Lexington VA Medical Center, Sousley Campus. Roger works extremely hard and puts in long hours to make sure the veterans are taken care of!  He is dedicated to his job by insuring that over 30,000 veterans in our community receive the care they need!  It includes primary and specialized care.
I’m very proud of my hard working husband who is a veteran himself!  Roger served in the army for 20 years!  He has been a Federal government worker for 15 years!  He has worked at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland for his military and civilian career for 17 years. We moved back to my hometown of Lexington, Kentucky to be close to family!  Roger was fortunate to get a position at the VA Hospital and was able to move us to Lexington, KY in 2018.   I truly considered my husband a Hometown Hero!”
